The LeanOhio Network includes hundreds of state employees who are making government simpler, faster, better, and less costly. Many have special training and certification, including Black Belts and Green Belts. They promote Lean, improve processes, and partner with the state to teach Lean tools and strategies.

Agency Lean Liaisons: Serve as an agency’s point person for sharing information about Lean, promoting its use, and coordinating agency Lean activities.
For Network members who have earned belt certifications, click below:
Black Belts: Complete six weeks of in-depth training and a major improvement project involving Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma. Black Belts focus their Lean-related work on project execution.
Green Belts: Complete two weeks of training and a project. They promote Lean and Six Sigma, continue to learn, and to use their tools and techniques with guidance from Black Belts and others.
Yellow Belts: Complete one day of training and gain an overview of Lean tools used in making daily continuous improvements.
LeanOhio Boot Camp (Camo Belt): Week-long training on Lean Six Sigma tools and methods. With its focus on the public sector, it is designed to fit the needs of state agencies.
