Extra inventory (ink cartridges, printers, etc.) were being ordered in bulk, for just-in-case situations, but not really needed. When it was time to use the items, they were outdated because the items were on the shelf for too long.
Any item requested must go through budget first if the item is not in warehouse inventory.
Centralized area for bulk items generally requested. No new color printers or desktop printers purchased for the next 2 years without special approval from Budget or HR.
